Music at the Market

Music at the Market

It's almost here!

The La Grande Farmers' Market season begins on Saturday May 22nd.

You can look forward to seasonal produce AND live music for the next six months.

Max Square - that's 4th & Adams - in historic downtown is the place to enjoy the best of our community from 9am - Noon.

Once again, Kneads Bakery is making sure that there is local music to go with the local produce each Saturday.

Here's the line-up for May and June...

May 22 - TooBamBoo – Fun for Everyone
May 29 - Star Nation – Native American Folk

June 5 - Summit Ridge – Bluegrass & Beyond
June 12 - Janis Carper & Carolyn Lochert – Folk, Jazz, & Fun
June 19 - Blue Plate Specials with Special Guests– Traditional Bluegrass
June 26 - Porter & the Pale Ales – Standards with Style

Please join me in thanking this year's Major Sponsors for the Music at the Market concert series

Red Cross Drug, Aramark Food Services, 104.7 KCMB & 99.9 the River.

Other Local Business Supporters for June's bands are – Earth ‘N’ Book, OTEC, Lackey Insurance

Hooray for them for helping us all have a Summer full of Music!

Let them eat Cake

Let them eat Cake

Graduation Season is on the way.

If you're wondering how to make your celebration special, think big.

That's right, Kneads now offers sheet cakes to make sure you've got a happy crowd.

Turbo Chocolate is always a winner, but Lemon-Marionberry and luscious Carrot Cakes are so good - you almost forget that they're not chocolate!

Of course I still make the 9" rounds in single or double layers, and I can do custom flavors if you've got your mouth set on something special.

Every order is Special

Every order is Special

I just love being able to tell my customers, "Yes, I have exactly what you want."

But my telepathic skills are unreliable, so everything becomes easier if you tell me your plans in advance.

Even with less than 24 hours notice, I can say "Yes" to most requests, so don't be shy about asking.

Whether you want four scones for next Wednesday's meeting, or you need a pie for tomorrow's Bunko party, just ask.

Twenty dozen Ginger Oatmeal cookies - give me a heads-up in advance and I'll have them boxed and ready to go!

I am also happy to bake items that aren't my usual fare, but would be the perfect thing for your event.

If Uncle Harry REALLY LOVES Pineapple Upsidedown cake, I'll make it for his Birthday.

Let me know your Kneads!
