Welcome to KNEADS BAKERY, Eastern Oregon's take-out favorite for Naturally Good Sweets & Breads. Leah Starr is the owner and primary baker since 2001. We bake everything on-site, from scratch, using only natural, pronounceable ingredients. We use only real butter or canola oil. There are NO artificial Trans Fats at KNEADS.

Cinnamon-Pecan Surprise Brownie

The cinnamon and pecan parts are self-explanatory. The 'surprise' is the luscious icing made with Mexican chocolate. It has an unusual flavor, but with the usual degree of yumminess that you can count on from the Brownie-of-the-Month. Click here for more brownies!

Mamacita's International Grill

Have you tried the all-new menu at Mamacita's?

I've enjoyed the salads, pasta dishes, and am a big fan of the Southwest Burger.

As if I weren't happy enough - now the sandwiches will be served on Kneads Bakery baguette!

AND lovely little dessert parfaits made with Java Brownie or Pumpkin Jazz are also on the menu.

Mamacita's is OPEN Mondays - Saturdays from 11am through dinner.  Plan to partake - you can support TWO locally-owned businesses with one delicious meal.

Saturday Treats

The Bakery is open again on Saturdays!

7am - 3pm, just like on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

The Farmers' Market Season is now over, and it was a big success thanks in part to the fabuluous local musicians and the businesses that sponsored their performances.

Only six months to wait until "Music at the Market" rings out again.

Stamp Card Stampede

There's been lots of excitement about the new 'Bakers' Dozen' stamp cards.

Earning freebies is fun, and I'm happy to reward my repeat customers.

To make it even more fun - I've decided to make Wednesdays "double-stamp" day for the months of November and December.
