Everything at KNEADS BAKERY is baked on-site from scratch using natural ingredients. We use pure creamery butter or canola oil so there are NO Artificial Trans Fats. That means that KNEADS BAKERY serves only Naturally Good Sweets & Breads.

KNEADS BAKERY has been offering take-out sweets and breads since 1995.
A fantastic new home was created for the bakery in
2004. The historic L.H. Norton Stitching Shop
Building was renovated to house KNEADS at 1113 Adams
Avenue in the heart of the La Grande Commercial
Historic District.
Leah Starr, owner since 2001, is a self-taught baker drawn to the kitchen
to satisfy her own sweet tooth.
She is passionate about baking from scratch. Leah uses traditional methods and small batches so there's no reason to use artificial preservatives. Comfort foods and elegant offerings are lovingly created with ingredients we can all pronounce and feel good about.
