Welcome to KNEADS BAKERY, Eastern Oregon's take-out favorite for Naturally Good Sweets & Breads. Leah Starr is the owner and primary baker since 2001. We bake everything on-site, from scratch, using only natural, pronounceable ingredients. We use only real butter or canola oil. There are NO artificial Trans Fats at KNEADS.
Bye Bye Bad Girl
After an unprecedented eight weeks as the Brownie-of-the-Month, it's time for the Bad Girl Brownie to step aside. What could follow 'Bad' except a, "Wicked Good White Walnut Brownie.".Click here for more brownies!
I now have "Come Back" cards designed to give KNEADS' customers an extra incentive to return for more Naturally Good Sweets & Breads.
Every time you make a purchase, I'll add a stamp to your card.
When you get to 12, I'll give you the 13th FREE. That's a traditional Bakers' Dozen, and even though I'm not always traditional, this seems like a good one.
If I forget to offer you a stamp, don't be shy about asking. I love knowing that you plan to come back for more!
Every Saturday morning some of our greatest local treasures are performing at the Farmers' Market. July includes lots of bluegrass, and all the musicians are sponsored by local businesses. Here's a list so you'll know who to look forward to hearing from 9am- Noon at Max Square.
The lineup for August is awesome!
Bring your friends down to max Square and enjoy free performances from 9am - Noon by Al MacLeod, the Johnson family band, 'Syv' (that means 'seven') and Summit Ridge.
Please support the businesses that support our local treasures!
As a former librarian and a perpetual reader, I can tell you that I love books as much as I love baking. My favorite kinds of books are those that have crumbs stuck in the pages because I've indulged in treats and reading at the same time!
So it should be no surprise that you can find KNEADS BAKERY treats at both Sunflower Books (1114 Washington) here in La Grande and also at The Bookloft (107 E Main) in Enterprise.
Treat yourself to a new book and a Triple Berry Coconut Bar and enjoy the Summer!
