2010!! 2010!!

Thanks to all of you for a great Holiday Season.

Sales were strong, both from loyal customers and from new folks and visitors too.

I took a few weeks off and really enjoyed life without the alarm clock.

Now it's a New Year and I'm rested and ready to launch into my 7th year here at 1113 Adams Avenue.

That's right, it was a snowy January 2004 when the forklift delivered the big oven through the front window.

I didn't watch, but I was told that there was at least an inch to spare.

Lacking the adventure of moving this year, I'm entertaining myself with new recipes.

Mamacita's International Grill is now serving my Banana Bombs.

Oh no, NOT banana bread.

Carmelized bananas baked on a spiced rum cake.

'Nuf said.

Free Coffee February

As a treat to all of my customers, I'd like to offer each of you a free cup of coffee every time you come in this February.

My organically grown and fairly traded beans are roasted dark and ground fine for a rich, strong brew.

No fancy flavors or espresso drinks (try Cup A Joe for those!)  just good ol' drip coffee.

Come in and take off the chill.  It's on me this month!

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day

Right after "Happy New Year," comes "What special things are you baking for Valentine's Day?"

This year it's cookies and candies galore.

Pink bags and pretty boxes of all sizes make treating the office or your neighbors easy.

Because Valentine's Day isn't just for your beloved, it's for celebrating all the sweet people in your life.

I've got a new treat that rides the fence between cookie and candy - I named it JOY.

Then there's the CocoNutters candy and the adorable pink heart cookies.

I even made big heart-shaped cookies and smeared chocolate frosting in between two of them!

Feel free to place an order or just come in to select the perfect treats for all of your sweets.

If you need a special cheesecake or anything else, just let me know and I'll be happy to make just the right custom dessert for you.

Cup A Joe Espresso

I finally have a good answer to the perennial question, "What am I supposed to do for breakfast on the days that Kneads is closed?"

Cup A Joe Espresso drive-thru on Island Avenue now sells Kneads' Ham & Cheese and Cinnamon Croissants 7 days a week

You can get a great beverage and fabulous treat each and every day from 6am - 7pm Monday - Saturday and 7am - 6pm on Winter Sundays.

Look for them on Facebook too.

Please don't forget to come back to Kneads Wednesday - Saturday from 7am - 3pm for other "Naturally Good Sweets & Breads."
